Scientists have ‘just’ discovered that the chicken came before the egg… They have discovered that the chicken contains a gene that is required for an egg to be formed, making it impossible for the egg to come first… This is a true story… I want to know how much these scientists get paid to come up with these mind blowing discoveries…
I’m glad that we aren’t in control of everything… If we were, we’d probably… actually, we would; make a great big mess of things. There is actually very little that we are in control of – But we seem to spend so much time worrying about things that are out of our control and spend very little time taking care of what we do have control of. One of the only real things we have total control of is – Our attitudes! So, worry about that and let God worry about the rest.
What is a Christian and how do you actually live like one? Does reading the bible… Praying… Going to Church, make someone a Christian? Not that it’s up to us to judge, but let’s face it; there are people out there who do all these things, but, would you call them a Christian? This Friday night we will tackle this topic and explore the one ‘simple’ Golden Rule that defines the Christian life.
